Hipodrom is the very first old-school house band in Czechoslovakia. Hipodrom was formed in late 1988 in Prague, Czech Republic (Czechoslovakia back then) by Jindřich Parma, a Czech pop, dance and eurobeat music producer (for example, he has composed most Petr Kotvald's and Karya's songs). In early 1989, Hipodrom's first single Pražský "haus" came out, followed by an LP of the same name in 1990. Their second and last LP from 1992 is called "Hipodrom 2". For 20 years, the band hadn't been active, however, Jindřich Parma composed some more house tracks under his real name in the mid to late 1990s. In 2013, Hipodrom released a funky-influenced album "Hipodrom 3". Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
