Grady G is widely known amongst his fans as the ‘King of Filth’, and it’s not hard to see why. His trademark Brutal NRG, laden with filthy hoovers, growling bass and grungy synths, has earned him a loyal following the world over and gained him a reputation as one of the scene’s most in-demand producers. Although often imitated, for those who like their music hard, fast and furious, no one does h...ard like Grady G. Having discovered Hard House in 2000, Grady decided to try his hand at music production, feeling that the Hard House being released at that time just wasn’t hard enough. Previously a drummer in a band, music production came naturally to Grady, and it wasn’t long before his tunes were being snapped up for release. With an impressive 29 tracks pressed on vinyl, and countless digital releases, it’s more a case of what labels haven’t released Grady’s music, with highly-esteemed labels such as Vicious Circle, Spinball, Passion Records, Deprivation and the Beat Ranch, to name but a few, clambering to release his material. Invariably, Grady’s tracks climb to the top of the charts, and he recently had an astounding five tracks feature in the Toolbox Digital top fifteen at the same time. Grady is also inundated with remix work, and has remixed scene giants such as Paul Glazby, Defective Audio/ Base Graffiti and Marc Johnson. As if this wasn’t enough, Grady’s DJ sets, show-casing his own productions, have wowed fans across the world, with Grady touring the UK, Ireland, Finland, New Zealand and, of course, Australia, numerous times. He has played at some of the biggest Hard Dance parties on the planet, such as Storm (UK), Wildchild (UK), Bezerk (NZ), Disturbed Nation (NZ), Enchanted Forest (Australia), System 6 (Australia) and Konemetsa (Finland). Cementing his status as a member of the Hard House elite, Grady has shared a stage with the biggest names in the scene, including Lisa Lashes, Lab 4, Andy Farley, Paul Glazby, Karim, Justin Bourne, Proteus, Defective Audio, Captain Tinrib, BK, Ben Stevens, Steve Hill, Nick Sentience and Paul Maddox. Having taken a two-year break, 2011 has so far shaped up to be another successful year for Grady, with him making his comeback, much to the relief of fans desperate for their filth fix.
