Galliard Ensemble

The Galliard Ensemble Wind quintet Kathryn Thomas - Flute Katherine Spencer - Clarinet Helen Simons - Bassoon Owen Dennis - Oboe Richard Bayliss - Horn The Galliard Ensemble are a wind quintet, formed in 1993 at the Royal Academy of Music, London. They regularly perform at the Wigmore Hall, South Bank Centre, and at international festivals. They are former BBC New Generation Artists. They have recorded for Deux-Elles Classical Recordings and Meridian. Their recordings have been highlighted in the BBC Radio 3 and BBC music magazine selections of the best recordings of the year.
