There are eight bands running under the name FLAMINGO: 1) An Electronic band from Adelaide Australia consisting of Kacee Heidt, Benny Tamblyn & Oli Kirk. Tracks include Heavy Steps, Slow Burning & Drip Away. https://soundcloud.com/flamingoaus https://www.facebook.com/flamingoaus *** 2) from Lithuania, a 3D rock (indie, progressive and alternative) band formed of football childhood friends. There is no fortuity about the existence of FLAMINGO band. All it’s members played football together since childhood and tried to make music at various local outfits. All the time they were heavily influenced by intense music such as MEW, RADIOHEAD, U2 or PINK FLOYD. In 2005, bassist Julius Siciunas, guitarist and vocalist Zilvinas Sebeika, guitarist Julius “Jalas” Biliunas and drummer Mikas Dulevicius regrouped as FLAMINGO in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. The band calls it’s sound the 3D rock – it represents a fine blend of indie, progressive and alternative rock, The band debuted at “John Peel Day 2006” event in late 2006, and has already supported the finest Lithuanian alternative scene bands such as GRAVEL, AXIS, BRAINERS and MILKY LASERS. “If the most famous Baltic band BRAINSTORM would suddenly chose to go alternative and play the songs what they truly might enjoy, they would sound like FLAMINGO”, - one local music critic summed up what he heard. The debut single and the first chapter in the forthcoming debut album - “Shutdown Baby” - was recorded in the “Unitedzeros” studios in Siauliai, North of Lithuania. We are happy to present two remixes provided by our favourite electronic music producers – Few Nolder and Golden Parazyth. Debiut single came out on 2nd of June, 2007.
