Elana Harte

Elana Harte enjoys a successful career both in writing and performing. A gifted guitarist and vocalist, the Montreal-born songstress maintains a “New Country” flavour and mass appeal. As a solo performer, Elana has released 4 CDs (Heart, Soul and Song; Father’s Daughter; Split; Like Water). Has had her music featured on compilations and soundtracks as well as garnering many songwriting awards (International Songwriting Competition, Songwriter Universe Magazine, Unisong International Songwriting Contest, Great American Song). Elana is a founding member of Vinnick, Sheppard, Harte, with whom she has released two recordings: My Favourite Shirt and And They All Rolled Over. She is busy as a freelance writer, producer and session musician, and brings her award-winning song writing ability to the V-Girls, a touring trio that includes Kim Sheppard and Heather Bambrick. Elana is also the producer and creator of ONSTAGE: Thursday Nights @ Slack’s, a weekly showcase of Canadian and International performing songwriters in downtown Toronto.
