There are two bands with same name: 1.formed in 1993 as melodic punk band by some school kids with heavy metal background in the lower austrian countryside. developed to varied emo-hardcore-metal-punk with anarchist lyrics and got very engaged within the d.i.y./anarcho-punk-scene. released 2 split LPs, a 4 way-split-lp, a split-7", 3 tapes and a lot of compilation-contributions on various diy-labels. they played more than 100 shows, mainly in squats and autonomous youth-centres in austria and neighbour-countries, with bands like RUBBISH HEAP, STRAHLER 80, VALINA, TEXTA, SENSUAL LOVE, DEADZIBEL, NULA, NIKAD, QUETZAL, OLHO SECO, SIN DIOS, MDC, RATOS DE PORAO, CONTRAVENE and many more. E.M.S. broke up in 2002. played one last MINOR THREAT-cover-set at the wonderful viennese squat EKH in 2004.
