Teenage Kicks

1. Teenage Kicks are brothers Peter van Helvoort (Vocals, Guitar) and Jeff van Helvoort (Bass, Vocals) along with their comrades Patrick Marchent (Guitar) and Cameron Brunt (Drums). Teenage Kicks are not special. Teenage Kicks are not hip. Teenage Kicks are not on the cover of trendsetting magazines or fawned over in taste-making blogs. Teenage Kicks are a rock and roll band. In many incarnations, over many years, the band has existed. On the outskirts of Toronto’s vibrant downtown core, surrounded by an unlikely shroud of forest, the four friends have come together to create arena sized music in a space that can fit barely more than ten; what they call a modern take on late 60s moody radio rock that was made so popular by the likes of The Who and Creedence Clearwater Revival. 2. This Houston band together came three punks wanted to pay tribute to 77' punk and power-pop. Features ex-members of Die, Emperor! Die! and A Silhouette. They lasted about a year, and are now broken up. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
