Theres like two bands in the world called duane barry. One is from Australia and the other is from England. Duane Barry (2008-2009) was a punk band of Shipper neckbeard wigga's from Adelaide whose favourite episodes were: Quagmire, Redux, Redux 2, Home, Red Museum & Beyond the Sea. & Duane Barry - a producer of progressive breaks and melodic, atmospheric electronica from Swindon, UK. Both his original tracks and remixes are renowned for their intricate layers of pads and strings, deep bass, swirling melodies and broken beats. As a producer, his tracks have received support from the finest on the progressive scene such as Jody Wisternoff, Stefan Anion, Arthur Deep, Retroid, Embliss, Aeron Aether, BETA, Karton, Hedflux, Kultur, BSD and many more. His releases have consistently been in the top seller charts across a variety of download stores (Beatport, DJ Download etc) and in some cases even topping the Progressive Breaks charts so a big thank you to everyone for showing your support! As a DJ, he likes his sets to be full of melodic breaks showcasing pumping basslines, stunning soundscapes and the finest in futuristic electronica. Ranging from pulsating pad and melody-driven tracks to speaker-shattering grooves with some vocal and electro elements in between. As well as presenting his own monthly show "Cosmic Refractions" on DanceRadioGlobal (where he shares the schedules with the likes of Paul Oakenfold, Judge Jules, Eelke Kleijn and many more), he has also guested and done podcasts for Dance Radio, Proton, Pure.FM, TribalMixes, NSB Radio and the Breakonomics show on RTE Pulse. Duane is also the owner and operator of label Digital Sensation UK - a label focussed on showcasing the very best in progressive and futuristic breaks. I want to write music that sounds like it is from a world beyond our world - beautiful and melodic, emotional and engaging." - Duane Barry http://www.myspace.com/duanebarry2012 Read more on Last.fm.
