Dreletronic is Croatian parody hip-hop and rock band. It was formed by Davor Dretar - Drele in early 90s. Lyrics reflected a peasants' life in part of Croatia called Zagorje often featuring motives of village life like wine drinking, livestock, love for simple foods like beans and cabbage, pig slaughter and so on. Majoritiy of this lyrics were written by Dretar himself. From music, though, Dretar used some outside help from Boris Vincetić, Davor Devčić, Boytronic (hip-hop) and others. Dreletronic published two albums, and compilation named "Hits". First album was published in 1992 and was called "Se bum vas tužil" ("I will sue ya all"). It was making fun of well-known habit of sueing everybody that exists in Zagorje. Biggest hit form this album was "Čavel v glavi" ("Nail in head") which was parody od of Thompson's song "Čavoglave" (a toponym that could be translated like "Nailheads"). It was allegedly the first Croatian hip-hop album. Second album Drele published was "V tuđoj kuruzi" ("In another man's corn field") in 1994 where Drele showed all his talent in such hits as: "Vumrl mi je pajcek moj" ("My piggy has died"), "Kolinje" ("Slaughter"), "Bapska rit" ("Old hag's ass") and so on. Today Drele works honorary as comedian on some Croatian commercal TV and radio stations. He is also a Guinness World Record holder for longest talk-show. Read more on Last.fm.
