Denis Turbide

My name is Denis Turbide and I've been playing guitar since mom and dad gave me a cheap nylon string guitar for Christmas in 1980. My dad wanted me to play classical guitar and I still play a couple of Bach pieces (badly). It's probably what made me want to play fingerstyle guitar. Not long after getting that first guitar, I began listening to, and trying to learn, all sorts of guitar music like Leo Kottke, John Renbourn, Pierre Bensusan. All of this heavily influenced my playing and writing. I started working on a little recording project back in late September 2008. Recording, mastering, copyrights, duplicating, shipping, uploading...etc. all this is now over and my music is now available I'm on cdbaby.com, iTunes, Amazon, Napster, Lala, Tradebit and soon to be on Spotify. And if any of the pickers out there are interested, I have FREE transcriptions of After the Battle and Samuel in pdf format. I hope you enjoy my music Cheers Read more on Last.fm.
