Dead Leaf Echo is a NYC band that has just finished recording their debut LP which was mixed by legendary producer 4AD John Fryer (Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode). The album is scheduled for release in early 2012. Their first single "Kingmaker" will come out on 7" vinyl and digital in the winter of 2012 on Custom Made Music Dead Leaf Echo released their 3rd EP "Verisimilitude" on May 31st featuring remixes and collaborations from Mark Van Hoen, John Fryer (This Mortal Coil, Depeche Mode), Elika, RxGibbs and Remarkably Spry! The band also played Escape to NY Festival and SXSW on bills with "Psychedelic Furs", "A Place To Bury Strangers" and "And Your Will Know Us By the Trail Of the Dead" and played sold out shows last year opening for the reunited Chapterhouse and Ulrich Schnauss. They released "Truth" their 2nd EP on October 12th 2010 on 2&1 Records. A 7" of the single "Half-Truth" was released in 2010 on Custom Made Music. Dead Leaf Echo's 1st EP "Pale Fire" was released in March 2008 on Year of the Gallon Records. Featuring the title track "Pale Fire" mixed by Ulrich Schnauss. Read more on Last.fm.
