DAVID FERRERO, main founder,of Weekend Records & Housepark records, is one of the most recognized producers of Spain, by his remixes to the most important pop artist worldwide, like Santana "Corazon Espinado" and "The game of love", Jennifer Lopez, Ricky Martin, Texas, etc. In 2005/06 he has made remixes for Francesco Farfa "Changing shapes", Electricano & Desyn Masiello "Harmony of soul", Peter Gelderblom "I wanna like u", Chambao "Pokito a poko"... Next to Wally Lopez he had remixed Paul Jackson "The push", Shiny Grey "Why", Steve Mac "Drumbum" and David Guetta "Money", working for the totality of national and international labels. The label Kinkysweet of Los Angeles release in October 2005 a double cd inside the prestigious series AFTERDARK that every volume is based on different cities of the world, in this occasion it was dedicated to Madrid and the representatives of the musical movement of the above mentioned city, they trusted in David Ferrero and in Dimas aka D-Formation, the album remained in chart of American sales several weeks in the first positions. In 2005 he co-produced Marc Antoine´s album, lounge jazzy tracks for the latest work of the best classical guitar placer of the World released by Tommy Lee Puma label called Rendezvous USA, this album remained in chart of Améric & Japan sales. Recently, the Academy of Sciences and the Arts of Music of Spain have granted him a "Prize of Music" with its group Fundacion Eivissa to the best song of electronic music by "Supernatural" one of the tracks that includes its last album. He has received several nominations and prides through the deejays magazines as best house producer and best record label of house music, by the votes obtained between all DJs and professionals of music. It has made works under the pseudonyms Fundacion Eivissa (Chill-out & Lounge) or La Fabrique du son (Tech-House), which appear with direct different and impressive due to the own creation of a "virtual optical keyboard & percussion", accompanied by a portable musical studio with which it has been seen him in his sessions in best clubs of the world, Ministry of Sound (London) After Hour Power, Chemistry (Los Angeles), Space, Privilege, Pacha, Amnesia (Ibiza), Matinee, Cel, Catwalk, Bikini, Danzatoria etc. (Barcelona), Space of Sound, Kapital, Joy, Cool, Xenon... (Madrid), Opium Garden Pacha, Bongo drums, La Camocha, (Miami), Shameless, Sullivan room, Le Zouk (New York) Hard Rock Hotel (Las Vegas), Escape, Impact, Chemistry (Amsterdam), Peter Pan (Rimini), BCM, Tito´s (Palma de Mallorca), Seven (Cannes), Medusas, Terra, Roots (Mexico D.F.), etc. Right now David is on Bacardi B-Live tour as DJ and performing at live with his brand new 3.0 version of his homemade machine, the "virtual optical keyboard & percussion", making music on the air through lasers and sensors. The tour has started May 16th in Barcelona with 4000 people, David played the best session that we´ve never seen for clubbers. In summertime, J&B & Matinee group booked David to perform on their parties called Nightology, those parties will be on a boat for 2000 people. In 2003 he did a demonstration for Pioneer at Sonar (LIVE CD DJ/PRODUCER) of how a DJ can use the CDs in a live session to remix tracks using different kinds of techniques such as scratch, backspins, samplings. It was clear a DJ it must always use the technology for the musical creation: in studio or in a live set. He produced the soundtrack for THE MIX, a film released in October, 2003. The soundtrack of THE MIX consists of all unpublished hits for the film, where there is Techno, House, Progressive, Chill Out...... without counting on the synchronization of dialogues and special effects. Along with partners Pedro del Moral and Marcos Calvo he creates L.A.
