Dallas Simpson is an environmental binaural sound artist specialising in environmental performance. His work features binaural environmental soundscapes, while interacting physically with the location eliciting sounds from found objects and surfaces. The resultant 3-D surround sound binaural recordings,optimised for headphone listening, are usually presented as a one-off live single take unedited, and each work captures the artist/performer's unique experience of exploring, performing and observing a particular location.
