Cora Rose was born and raised in the beautiful Driftless Region of Southwest Wisconsin. She began performing at age 13 and released her first album, Ebony, as a high school sophomore in 2001. After graduating in 2005, she moved to Nashville, TN before moving again to Bar Harbor, Maine to study Spanish and Fair Trade/International Relations at College of the Atlantic. There she has been able to pursue the studies and travel she found so important to merge with her music, traveling to Yucatan, Mexico and Ghana, West Africa to complete research. In June of 2009 she released her second album, Turn The World, and is currently working on new songs with a Latin American/West African twist. She now lives in New York City. Read more on Last.fm.
