Concha Piquer

Concepción Piquer López, Concha Piquer (Valencia, December 8th, 1906 - Madrid, December 12th, 1990) was a Spanish actres and singer of "Copla", the most popular genre in the 40's. She mastered songs from Quintero, León y Quiroga, such as "Ojos verdes", "Tatuaje", "Y sin embargo te quiero", among many others. Her successful carrer took her to a five year contract in United States, where she performed in Broadway and also appeared in "The Jazz Singer" the first talking motion picture. Read more on Last.fm.
