Cities and Saints

Cities and Saints is a four-member melodic alternative rock band based in Grand Rapids, MI. Formed in late 2009, CaS features Evan Walters, former lead guitarist of Three Chord Statement; Adam Visser, former drummer of Three Chord Statement; Scott Walters, former bassist of Echo After; and vocalist and pianist Marty Lamain, who is currently a student at Cornerstone University. While Cities and Saints is a brand new band, the four guys share a wealth of combined experience, having played over 300+ shows; recording 5 albums; and opening for national recording artists such as RED, NeedToBreathe, Thousand Foot Krutch, Pillar, Greenwheel, Disciple, Day of Fire, Decyfer Down, Nevertheless, Spoken, The Showdown, Kevin Max, Everyday Sunday, Kids in the Way, Amely, and more. Since the band’s first show this spring, Cities and Saints has opened for national artists Rookie of the Year and The Narrative (2x). The band was also featured in the 2010 Taste of Grand Rapids at John Ball Park. Cities and Saints’ debut EP, “Send the Morning,” is now available for download at their bandcamp site.
