Zespół powstał w 2009 roku i już po kilku miesiącach funkcjonowania zarejestrował demo „Anti Humanity” prezentujące surowy black metal. Kolejny rok przyniósł EPkę „Time Of Desolation”, stylowo mocno odbiegającą od pierwszego wydawnictwa. Kompozycje prezentowały bardziej ambitne i zdecydowanie mniej depresyjne oblicze zespołu. Obydwa materiały zostały bardzo dobrze przyjęte zarówno w Polsce jak i poza granicami kraju, dzięki czemu Cień mógł dzielić scenę z takimi markami jak Arkona, Furia, Mord`a`Stigmata czy Christ Agony. W grudniu 2014 roku dzięki Old Temple światło dzienne ujrzała pierwsza pełna płyta zatytułowana "Ecce Homo" - black metal z charakterystyczną dla zespołu mieszanką doom i heavy metalu a nawet elementami czystego rocka. Od tego czasu zespół skupił się na intensywnej promocji debiutanckiego albumu. W 2015 roku, również w kooperacji z Old Temple, wydana została kompilacja "Time Of Anti-Humanity", która zawiera materiał z demo i EPki. 1/12/2017 zostanie wydany 2gi pełny album "Fate". -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The band was established in 2009 and after a few active months recorded a demo called „Anti Humanity” presenting raw black metal. Next year brought in EP „Time Of Desolation” which style deviated from the first release. New tracks were less depressive and had more complex structures. Both releases received acclaim in Poland as well as abroad and thanks to that Cień was given the opportunity to share the stage with prominent Polish metalheads including Arkona, Furia, Mord`a`Stigmata and Christ Agony. In December 2014 the band’s first full album, called “Ecce Homo”, was released via Old Temple - black metal with distinctive mix of doom and heavy metal or even pure classic rock. Since then the band has been focused on promotion of its latest creation. In 2015, again in cooperation with label Old Temple, a compilation of demo and EP entitled "Time Of Anti-Humanity” was released.
