Chelsea Korka (born June 10, 1986) is an American pop singer and former beauty pageant queen. As of 2007 she is a member of Pussycat Dolls' European spin-off group the Paradiso Girls. She is best known for her participation in the CW network TV show Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search For the Next Doll, where she was the 2nd runner-up. She suffered from Bacterial Meningitis in 2005, and almost lost her life. Then in 2006, in a "spur of the moment" decision, she decided to take part in Pussycat Dolls Present. As well, she became Miss West Brodward USA 2007 at the age of 19 and competed in Miss Florida USA. Chelsea is ethnically Greek. Thanks to her voice, admired by both contestants, judges and often compared to Christina Aguilera's, Korka made it to the semi-finals, where she was one of the girls who got sick, compromising her chances, but Robin Antin felt she was the girl with the most potential, and decided to have her move on to the next round. Throughout the competition she struggled with her dancing and had an underlying feud with fellow contestant Melissa Smith about it. Yet, even though the final four elimination round featured harsh choreography, she moved on together with Melissa Reyes, and Asia Nitollano. She finished third and many of her fans felt it was because of her strong vocals which would have outshined some of the other dolls. Read more on Last.fm.
