Cameron Lee was born in Los Angeles when rock music was on top. Who could have known that he would bring rock back to grace with a sound that redefined what we thought about all music? Growing up Cameron was the oldest of three and was pretty much a loner. Never one to be a follower, he became anti-social and withdrawn from his peers. Turning to music for comfort, he used his anguish to fuel his desire to be heard. He drifted to many uncommon areas for a young budding rockstar. Identifying with many of the rawest and unlikely street people in LA's underbelly, he often found himself in situations only urban Los Angeles can produce. Going from the beaches to the ghettos, Cameron had a broad scope of what people are going through and what they need. It's funny how a kid that was looked at as an outcast in suburbia, was loved in Compton, Long Beach & Downtown Los Angeles. He traveled the world, playing small gigs just to get by. Continuing to write his acutely personal lyrics, he started giving his music out for free on the streets. Having no money became a problem, forcing Cameron to work odd jobs to survive. His fans would beg for new music, telling him to stop working and focus on his music for the people sake! In January 2008 he made that vow to himself and his fans. He has been locked in the studio, and is due to release his full length debut album sometime in 2009. Read more on Last.fm.
