CTX is a band from Buenos Aires, Argentina. CTX formed in September, 2117. His name is in honor to City X, place where were living the human who did not want to be a part of the new civilization where the people were born with an implanted microchip. The city resisted through many decades until the last antinaturalistic hunt. Fortunately his grandparents could escape before the city was falling down to go into exile in this time, in which scarcely it begins the technology GPS. Their sound, is influenced from bands such as New Order,The Chemical Brothers and Underworld. Their idea was to combine the electronic music with rock. Covers like Fight for your right (to party) of the Beastie Boys, Spirits in the Material world of The Police, The End of The Doors or In the Air Tonigt of Phil Collins, among other songs were mixing with jammin` giving birth to what it would be CTX´s sound ("the sound of the future" like some friends of the band said). Some of these early tracks are the ones that have been recorded in their first EP. In October, 2005 they recorded the song Hot Hot Hot for the tribute album to The Cure [1] In the summer of 2006 they went to the mistic city of La Plata to begin the recording sessions for their first album wich apparently will be called "No Paren de Flashear!" ("Don´t Stop The Flash!"). In November they edited the single "Canción de Verano" ("Summer song"). Nowadays they are preparing to what will be the "Summer tour" along the Argentine´s Atlantic Coast, to present their single and songs of "No Paren de Flashear!" ("Don´t Stop The Flash!").
