Buttersonic is the solo project of Shahaf Efrat from israel. Shahaf was always attracted to trance music since a really young age. In the age of 14 Shahaf started to attend trance parties and since 2003 he has been spinning the decks in Israel's beautiful nature. In 2005 Shahaf joined Dj D.Vision (Utopia Records) in order to create "Freedom Fighters" a project that specializes in European Full On Trance. In 2006, Shahaf decided to take the bpm a bit down, and kick the groove up when he decided to fulfill his true passion by creating his own progressive side project called Buttersonic. Buttersonic's music specializes in Progressive Trance, Progressive House & Electro. His music has massive sound with strong groove, touchy melodies, massive atmospheric Fx and of course a massive kick & base which breaks anything that comes in his way. In 2006, Buttersonic joined Domo Records / Ear Peaks Music, he has already collaborated with artists such as : Quantize, Sundose, D-Fusion & Perplex. One of his latest hits "Ear Peaks" has already been remixed by one of the hottest electro house stars, Tribal Vision's "Duca" & More remixes are cooking for his biggest hit "Passion" from some of the scenes biggest artists. With releases in labels like: Domo Records, Blue Tunes Records, Spin Twist Records, Yse Records and playing around the world in places such as : Brazil, Mexico, Russia, Turkey & Israel, the future seems greater then ever for this young artist.
