Bionic Boogie

Bionic Boogie was a disco studio group produced by Gregg Diamond in the late 70s. Diamond produced three albums under this name, "Bionic Boogie" in 1977, "Hot Butterfly" in 1978, and "Tiger! Tiger!" in 1979. Though the group is best known for its dance hits "Risky Changes" and "Chains", Luther Vandross sang with Bionic Boogie on "Hot Butterfly" and is showcased in the title track. Gwen Guthrie, best known for her 1986 hit "Ain't Nothin' Goin' On But the Rent", also sang with Bionic Boogie. Though Diamond released several other studio albums under different names during the late 70s, Bionic Boogie is certainly the best representation of his talent. Unfortunately, Diamond passed away in 1994. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
