Kaoru Kimura (1984 -2012) was a electronic music producer and DJ who created freeform hardcore/hard NRG, sometimes arranging video game music. At the end of 2009, he started his own label, TOTAL DISCOMMUNICATION. Its first release was a compilation of industrial hardcore, called "Pure Existence". On October 6, 2012, it was announced that Kimura had passed away 2 weeks prior. He was 28 years old. Kimura cited Alek Száhala and Ophidian as key influences. When producing experimental tracks, he used the pseudonym Berserk+Haste. Together with Hase he formed RaverRose / Hattifnatt, then RR-ThermalForce (or RaverRoseTF or just ThermalForce). When playing livesets together with Alabaster, they sometimes used the name Butabaster (the Buta part comes from one of B&B's other aliases, 豚鼻博士 / Butabana Hakase). Other aliases: POLY CALAMITY (Industrial Hardcore), Berserk+Haste (experimental), Butabana Hakase (Happy Hardcore), Butagoya (House / various), Raver Lord (Freeform / Makina, old), Hatred (Freeform, old), brat83 (various, old), DARK SUPPLICANT (various, old), λnkgcco (singer?)
