Ben Mitchell

Ben Mitchell is a singer-songwriter from Australia. His most recent album release is Summer Lover (released on 21st June 2016 through Beautiful Mess Records), 14 tracks ranging in style from indie-pop/rock to alt-country, with a new-folk element throughout. On Sunday 23rd October 2016 Mitchell began the ‘Summer Lover’ Tour along the east coast of Australia including shows in Victoria, NSW and ACT. See EVENT In 2015, Mitchell independently released Chance To Love, all 17 tracks of which received radio play across Australia. One song, ‘Beautiful Mess’—arguably the most successful track—was picked up by Foxtel for airing on it’s Country Music Channel. The title track, Chance To Love, received strong support from community radio, including 3RRR’s breakfast show (source: AMRAP AIRIT log pages). Mitchell recorded his first album, The Stars Can See while living in London and released it in Australia through MGM (Australian independent music distribution company) in 2006. Musicians who appear on The Stars Can See include Pete Cuthbert (Drummer with English band, Rialto), Ben Sargeant (bass player for The Script) and Claire Worrall (Robbie Williams keyboardist, backing vocalist).
