Beautiful Beast

Beautiful Beast's "Adult Oriented Candy" is intended to be that mixtape that used to run in your (and my) walkman circa 1989. Our 11-song album features a cross section of 80s-styled hard rock ranging from uptempo riff-rockers in the vein of Dokken to catchy Autograph- and Bon Jovi-style AOR tunes, the mandatory midtempo groove rocker, some glam, a piece of sleaze - and, of course, a power ballad. Julian Angel Vocals, Guitars Julian has been holding the hair metal banner high for years even when he had to take the beating from time to time. Being 'stuck in the eighties' as he admits he definitely knows how to put on a rock show and crank the hell out of his guitar. Julian holds two solo albums to his record, a nomination for German Rock Awards as best guitarist as well as film/tv music deals with two renowned Hollywood publishers, among others. Julian has composed the music for an American Express promo spot. Frank Mc Douglas Bass, Keys, Voc Frank had a classical education on the piano before he decided to become a front line stage actor with a four-, five- or six-string bass guitar around his neck. Parallel to his action-driven live performances Frank has honed his skills as a sought-after session keyboardist and sound designer in southern Germany. Frank and Julian have shared the stage for more than ten years in occasional bands and developed a blind on-stage understanding that guarantees for the stage action hair metal is known for. Ro Lee Drums, Voc Ro Lee (Roland Jahoda) has a musical background in heavier (and faster) metal styles and has toured Europe with several bands including German metal legends Paradox. He has been jamming with Julian and Frank for the last five years and works perfectly in a team with the two both on and off stage. Ro Lee is endorsed by Orion Cymbals and can be seen at various music expos as a representative and performer. Read more on Last.fm.
