Currently there are two artists known under "Barfuss". The first one is a soul project of producer Oliver Gierke (Soulism) representing the release "Schritte". The other one is a german pop/rock group from Korbach (HES). Barfuss (Soul, Mannheim) Everything began 3 years ago, when Oliver met Isabel and Jörg Haist to jam and work on songs somewhere between Joy Denalane, Clueso. Influenced by a wide range of musical styles as Isabels and Jörgs jazz background and Olivers experiences with working on HipHop and Rock productions the songs are based on a common ground of soul, pop and r'n'b.
