Ashley Noot

ASHLEY NOOT is an extremely highly spirited and talented singer-song writer hailing from Houston, Texas. With a guitar in her hand by the age of 8, by 15yrs Ashley was taking vocal lessons with world renowned vocal coach, Debbie Beinhorn, known to have worked with Clint Black, Pam Tillis, American Idol's Kimberly Caldwell and many others. In 2002 Ashley began recording her demo with Debbie and Scott Mochon of Millennium Music in Houston. She performed gigs at local bars and restaurants in Houston and became a featured artist at the Legacy Showroom in High Point, North Carolina during the furniture markets that are held twice a year. Talented as a writer, as well as famous for her stunning vocals, it was no surprise that when introduced to UK music producer John Ravenhall, he immediately signed her to his own label... Johnny Boy Records. John placed Ashley in Denmark with EMI writer John Gordon and the two of them hit it off from day one writing some truly wonderful cultured pop songs. John Ravenhall then took up the gauntlet taking the album over to Chicago to work with the legendary Larry Sturm (Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Timbaland) and the best of Chicago's finest musicians before finally mixing with Larry at the helm. The record is everything you'd expect from such a spirited Artist, the guitar production gives the tracks a raw element whilst the use of the 'Chicago Philharmonic' on three of the tracks provides high emotional content. Ashley's vocals are stunning in her ability to communicate, and the resultant experience is worth the listen. Ashley's songs are witty, poignant and beautifully written. Her new album entitled 'THROWING AWAY YOUR LOVE SONGS' is an exciting guitar pop album, topped by her magical vocals. The album includes two of Ashley's originals as well as ten other songs that were co-written by Ashley and friend and Co-Writer, John Gordon. Ashley continues to perform locally as she prepares to play around England for the promotion of her new album. The album is a nice blend of pop and guitar oriented music with much variety in its sound and lyrics. Her debut single entitled 'Oh No What' is due for release in the Spring/Summer of 2010.
