Apex was formed in 2009 by Paraguayan drummer Bernardo Benitez and Peruvian bassist & singer Ruben Villanueva. The music style cultivated by Apex is primarily Latin Rock London however their sound gets diverted into Anglo Indie alternative roots. It is worth mentioning that Apex is only Spanish Rock UK band in the England that writes & produces their own songs. Apex recorded its first album titled " Hasta el Fin" at Bogzoo studios of New Cross in London England. The mix down was in charge of producer Jose Eyzaguirre, acclaimed Peruvian music producer of bands such as “Era” and “Alerta Rocket” which is currently nominated to several Latin American awards including MTV award to Best Latin Rock UK Band. Since 2010, Apex has performed in uncountable music venues across London such as Hope & Anchor, Camden Rock, Fiddlers Elbow, The White Lion, Brixton Jam, The Native Tongue, Tommy Flynns, Nothing Hill Arts among others. keeps close connections with their Latin American bands UK counterparts in the UK, having played in various oportunities for Latin Rock Radio London Apex has always been characterized by it's distinctive international band members which gives Apex a unique Spanish Rock UK touch, which is shown in many of their Latin Rock London songs & performances.
