Currently, Angel Ace is one of the most promising and rising stars in the Spanish Trance scene. He has been awarded best Spanish Trance Producer in 2005 and 2006 by Dj One Magazine, and was nominated for best trance track in 2003, 2004 and 2005. Moreover, some of his tracks have been included in many sets of the top Djs around the world (Paul Van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren, Judge Jules, Markus Schulz, Johan Gielen, Dj Precision and a few more). His first international success was due to the project, Serenade, the first single of which, Serenade, was performed in sets by Paul Van Dyk and Johan Gielen. This single was also included in quite a few compilations. Angel Ace also entered and remained for a while on the prestigious Dutch chart (DMC) with a project named Virtua, and with a track called Shine, which was included on many important worldwide playlists. Serenade – Aura was the most serious successor of Serenade, and was played on the well-known trance radio show “A State Of Trance” by Armin Van Buuren. It was signed by Ligaya Recordings in Germany, and included as the second one in Andre Visior’s chart. The third single by Serenade, called Nova and signed by Ligaya Recordings reached top 5 position in the Dutch DMC chart. As a remixer, Angel Ace remixed one of Andre Visior´s (A.C) track; this remix was included in the prestigious Paul Van Dyk Radio Fritz´s Show, and the very well-reputed compilation, Trance Nation Mixed by Tilmann Urhmacher. His latest remixes have been played by Djs like Armin Vau Buuren and Judge Jules. “Serenade is a my own personal feeling of doing and understanding Trance, without any doubt my favourite musical style”, Angel Ace said, “but never letting quit my tracks signed by my own name”. Frozen Moon could certainly be the most serious work. It was signed by the one of the best Spanish dance labels, Vale Music (Electropolis), and was considered by some people, like Robert Gitelman, as “massive.” More importantly, it was included in the prestigious Spanish compilation, Cultura de Club 05. At present, Angel Ace is working under different aliases, such as Serenade or Michael Delving. His most recent releases continue to be played by some of the best known Djs around the world and are found on the best compilations. Read more on Last.fm.
