AlphaBAT (알파벳) is a South Korean pop/hip-hop boy group under Simtong Entertainment. The group consists of 9 members: B:eta (Leader), C:ode, D:elta, E:psilon, F:ie, G:amma, H:eta, I:ota and J:eta. They made their debut on November 11, 2013 with digital single "AB City". AlphaBAT made their debut as hip hop duo consisting of Selin and Kyumin in December 2012 under YUB Record with "Hello". However, around January 2013, the duo group changed to a 9 member idol group. Selin stayed in the group and Kyumin left. According to Kyumin’s Facebook, he will debut in another new group with other new members under the same company. The group finally debuted on November 12, 2013 under Simtong Entertainment. They released their first digital single titled "AB City" on November 11, 2013 and had their first debut stage at Simply KPOP on November 12, 2013. The music video was released a little later on November 14, 2013. It was announced on their official Japanese twitter as of November 1st, 2016 that AlphaBAT has switched companies to Jakol Corporation, along with the unofficial departure of members C;ode, D:elta, F:ie, I:ota, J:eta, and the addition of a new member, K;appa. .
