Jung Yong Hwa (정용화; born June 22, 1989 in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korea) is a South Korean musician, singer, songwriter, producer and actor. Jung Yong Hwa made his show business debut as "Kang Shin-woo" in the Korean drama "You're Beautiful" on October 7, 2009 and played the male lead as "Lee Shin" in the 2011 drama "Heartstrings". He is also the leader, lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the rock band CNBLUE. On January 14, 2011, he released his first solo digital single, "처음 사랑하는 연인들을 위해 (반말송) (For First Time Lovers)". On December 23, 2014 he released digital special single, "별, 그대" (Star, You). In 2015, he is debut as solo artist with first full-length album "어느 멋진 날" (One Fine Day) released on on January 20, 2015. Jung Yong-hwa's first album as a CNBLUE member is "Now or Never", a mini album that was released in Japan on August 19, 2009 with an indie label AI Entertainment. Jung composed the third track "Love Revolution" and the fourth track "Just Please". Jung Yong-hwa debuted as a singer with the rock band CNBLUE in Korea on January 14, 2010. "Bluetory" is CNBLUE's first mini album, and the title track "외톨이야" (I'm a Loner) became an instant hit in Korea. "I'm a Loner" reached the top in all major online music stores, and topped the KBS Music Bank chart on January 29, 2012. On October 19, 2011, CNBLUE made their Japanese debut with Jung's self-composed title song "In My Head" under the major label Warner Music Japan.
