Almost Kings, comprised of Atlanta music veterans, came into existence at the dawn of 2008. Vocalist/MC Bryan "Boze" Bozeman and guitarist/vocalist Ryan Yunker joined forces in what began as a rock/hip hop writing experiment and quickly became a bit more with the writing of the Kings' first song, "Legend". Bringing in drummer Kevin Compton and bassist/vocalist Danny Helms, the group began work on an entire album in Atlanta's Virtuo Studios, due out late 2008. The music fuses rock and hip-hop, but also mixes in elements of many other genres, including rap, punk, metal, and more. The Kings' principal is to give the PEOPLE something different to listen to, as well as something meaningful. Although being extremely young on the scene, Almost Kings has already attracted major attention and is continuing to turn heads. The amount of page views and plays on the band's myspace page in this short amount of time speaks for itself. Bozeman, Compton, and Helms have toured the United States countless times, supporting national acts such as Rehab, Chevelle, Hed(PE), Stone Sour, and more. Almost Kings is about to break loose, and when it does, the four are prepared to give everything to maintain the AK mission and give YOU, the people, something fresh and new. Read more on Last.fm.
