Alif Satar (born Muhammad Alif bin Mohd Satar on September 19, 1990 in Malaysia), is a Malaysian singer who rose to fame after finishing 3rd in a reality television series, One in a Million, which airs on 8TV. Alif ranked at #11 on the Top 20 Knock-out show and emerged as one of the Top 12 contestants. Alif made it to the Grand Finale of the reality television show, defeating professional singer Dayang Nurfaizah who landed in fourth place. The competition ended on September 22, 2006. Alif was placed in third with Suki in first and Faizal Tahir in second. His first single was "Jangan Nakal" (Don't Be Naughty), which was a major hit in Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei. In 2011, he released a new single, "Lelaki Seperti Aku" (A Guy Like Me). Apart from singing, Alif was also known for his role as a presenter for "Remaja" (Teen), a weekly TV program produced by TV3.
