Albert Ojeda is one of the new pioneers bringing Darkwave music back into the public with a revamped electronic twist. Music has been a huge inspiration all of his life. At age 3 he suffered a stroke while undergoing open-heart surgery resulting in paralysis of his right side. Even at such a young age he found that music was an inspiration, it helped him push through many long hours of therapy as he re-learned to walk, talk, and finally sing. Ever since then Albert has been drawn to pursue musical aspirations. He began teaching himself piano at age 12. By the age of 14 he was writing his own songs. In high school he was in both choir and the musical theater department. Now at age 22, Albert is a successful recording artist with a steadily growing international and local following. Albert has performed at a number of well-known venues including The House of Blues, The Whisky A-Go-Go, Taphouse HB and Chain Reaction, and is currently touring around the Southern California Area. In 2012 his music video FREAK was in the running for Best Dark Video of the year in Russia on MyZone TV. Since then Albert has lost an amazing 90 lbs, gained 6,000 + fans, added 2 new singles on iTunes. He is currently preparing his new live show with The Conspiracy. Read more on Last.fm.
