There are 3 bands with the name AKINA: 1) Akina was a member of the now defunct Folder and Folder5 groups on the avex trax label. She is currently the only member to continue as a solo artist with three singles to date. 2) Akina (who published the album, Spangle) was born in 1983 in Kagoshima, Japan. Since 2008, her solo project has started. But, she had never played piano and guitar, written music and learned how. 3) Saitou Akinari (斉藤昭成), a popular net idol released his first song on April 20, 2013 under the name akina.
