Aaron Wayne Kelly (born April 2, 1993) is an American singer. At age 11 he was a finalist on America's Most Talented Kid. In 2009 he won the American Idol Experience competition in Disney World which allowed him entry into the ninth season of the popular talent show American Idol. Kelly, the youngest of three brothers, was born in Davenport, Florida. Because of the difficult circumstances between his biological parents, Kelly was legally adopted by his aunt and uncle at the age of five, moving to Nashville, Tennessee, and then Sonestown, Pennsylvania. He has sung professionally since the age of nine, performing at festivals and fairs and opening for such acts as Loretta Lynn, Emerson Drive, Bill Anderson and The Marshall Tucker Band. At age 11, he was a finalist on PAX-TV's America's Most Talented Kid. Kelly once had a job selling soda on a beach near his home. He is currently a junior at the Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School. Kelly lists his hobbies as soccer and photography and his musical influences as Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts, Carrie Underwood and Celine Dion. Kelly auditioned for American Idol in Orlando, having won the American Idol Experience competition in Disney World which enabled him to skip the preliminary auditions and appear first before judges Randy Jackson, Simon Cowell, Kara DioGuardi and Kristen Chenoweth. Kelly is the third contestant from Pennsylvania, and currently the youngest contestant to make it through into the Top 12 on the 2010 season of American Idol. He is also one of two contestants from Pennsylvania to be selected for the Top 24 in this season's American Idol. Read more on Last.fm.
