As a boy, growing up in a small town, he did what all the kids his age did: go outside and play sports. His dad would always play rock classics and domestic music and subconsciously he thinks this turned him off from music for a long time. He had too much in too short of a time period. It was not until the age of 14 that he expressed interest in music. He really did not know what was out there. The first electronica track he's ever heard was an .S3M (back in the MOD days) by "Purple Motion". He eventually progressed onto Euro Dance, listening to Sash, Scooter, etc. This lasted for about a year and a half until he discovered Psy/Goa, listening to the likes of Man With No Name, Astral Projection and Hallucinogen. Trance as we known it today was still in its infancy back then but eventually it came about. It's 1998/1999, the definition of uplifting trance. He always wondered to himself how these guys could come up with such complex soundscapes and harmonies (or what seemed complex to him at the time). It wasn't until late 2002 that he decided to 'give it a shot'. It was a rough journey, with many stumbles along the way. As with anything, with enough practice, he perfected his craft to the point where he felt it was "good enough". Read more on Last.fm.
