2steel Girls

In April 2011, Allison and Krystal Steel decided to combine their love for country, rock and soul music, their sassy personalities, and can-do attitudes, to become the country/soul duo, 2Steel Girls. With hard work and persistence 2Steel Girls have accomplished much in a very short time. It wasn’t handed to them though. The duo and their family have made many sacrifices to see their dreams come true. Although, making sacrifices can be tough, they truly believe that if you are willing to put in a lot of hard work towards your dreams that you will see great things happen. And that they have!! Less than 12 months after their first show, talent scouts found the duo online and scheduled them for a private audition for NBC’s “The Voice”. The girls battled their way past 45,000 hopefuls and landed in the top 64 contestants, when they were selected by Blake Shelton, Country Music’s reigning, “Entertainer of The Year”. 2Steel Girls go down in history as the first Mother and Daughter duo to ever compete on “The Voice”. Garnering the support of Blake Shelton and “The Voice”, 2Steel Girls have been thrust into the spotlight. Now, with a quickly growing fan base, exposure to over 20 million viewers on national and international television and over a million video views on YouTube, the girls are in high demand! They have been featured on GAC.com (Great American Country), named a country favorite on NBC’s, “The Today Show” with Kathy Lee and Hoda Kotb, mentioned in Rolling Stone Magazine, as well as newspapers and magazines locally and nationally. Nothing can stand in the way of this Country/Soul duo as they sing their way to the top! 2Steel Girls’ new CD will be released in the first quarter of 2013 and they are now booking shows for their first tour. “Get to know the duo before they make it big — because they will.” -Lydia Picknell, Keepin’ It Country.
