Tyranny Of Shaw was a chaotic hardcore band based in Miami, FL. Known for their vicious guitar technique and mind bending technicality fused with lashing melody and furious drumming. While they released a slew of now obscure and virtually extinct, but fantastic songs in their early days, they unleashed their true madness on Robotic Empires MUTATION comp with two jaw droppingly intense songs: 'Grendel' & 'Lost In Arcadia'. Unfortunately, their only available release was an epic 4 track EP entitled Stars In Camouflage, which in it's own right spoke new volumes to where hardcore was headed, and where it should be. Their final release would be a short but memorable one. 2 songs with fellow hardcore band Phoenix Bodies, A 7" split. They broke up sometime in 2004. Members of Tyranny of shaw went on to spawn several other bands, including Torche, Capsule, Maruta, Shitstorm, Monarcs, Mehkahgo N.T. and many more. Read more on Last.fm.
