An alternative band with beautiful female vocals from Moscow, Russia. Official site: http://www.tracktorbowling.ru Originally formed in 1996, Tracktor Bowling came up with the idea of a new style (nu metal with female vocals) on the Russian alternative scene. After changing musical stylistics and some musicians, the band finally found their own unique sound. "Blood burning" riffs, sincerity and mad energetics with lyrics speaking of grief and happiness, love and pain, deep emotions and endless fears, driven by beautiful melody, heavy guitars and an angelic female voice. The band's first demo-record, "Мутация" / "Mutation" (2000) had a great success. After several shows, Tracktor Bowling acquired the status of a cult band in the Moscow alternative rock scene. The debut album, "Напролом" / "Breaking Through" (2002) made Tracktor Bowling headliners of the largest alternative rock festivals in Russia. The next album "Черта" / "The Edge", which came out at the beginning of 2005, was even more professional, sensual and "grown-up" with Tracktor Bowling's invariable energetics and sincere lyrics. "The Edge Tour 2005" all over Russia was completed with great shows in Russia's largest rock festivals. The band received multiple Russian alternative music awards in various nominations. For several years Tracktor Bowling was proclaimed to be the best live rock band in Russia. The new EP "It's Time To...", comprised of the English versions of three songs and available on MySpace.Com, received lots of positive responses and comments from people all over the world. The third album, "Шаги по стеклу" / "Walking On Glass" appeared in May, 2006. Sixteen new tracks — half of them aggressive, half lyrical — became the new Molotov cocktail from the band. The album enjoyed a new level of sound quality (it was mixed and mastered in Finland), with a full palette of music colors, deep and razing guitar sounds, powerful drums and beautiful lead vocals. At present, Tracktor Bowling work on new videos and participate in the largest Russian rock festivals, where they play on the same scene with bands like Bloodhound Gang and Soulfly. Professional performance and sound quality coupled with bursting emotions and fans' bouncing is the way Tracktor Bowling's live shows usually are. Read more on Last.fm.
