Tim Timmermans was Born in Tacoma Washington and lived all over the U.S. and also in Chateroux France before. He got a B.A. in music from Sonoma State University and eventually settled in the Los Angeles area. Known internationally as a Fine Art Photographer as well as a Recording artist, Tim has performed, recorded with, and toured with some of the biggest names in show business, including including Joe Cocker, Ivan Neville, Jon Hendricks, Woody Shaw, Jackson Browne, Taj Mahal, Bonnie Raitt, Lenny Breau, Alvin Lee, Dan Fogelberg, George Clinton, Jesse Colin Young, Pam Tillis, Peter Banks from Yes, John Cipollina, It's a Beautiful Day, Craig Chaquico, Peter White, Ray Manzarek from the Doors, Albert Lee, Spencer Davis, Lowen & Navarro, Eliza Gilkyson, and The L.A. Guitar Quartet, including two Grammy nominated CD and one Grammy winning CD , but the focus of his career has been his Band and Solo career with 10 releases from his Jazz group "Windows" and his 3 solo releases, "Seven Bridges", "life as we know it", and "Poems of the Five Mountains" (with Skipper Wise) on the Virgin/Higher Octave label.
