The Terem Quartet (best known as Terem Quartet & aka Terem-Quartet - Russian: Терем-Квартет), is a musical ensemble - from St Petersburg, Russia - known for its virtuosity on Russian folk instruments. The group formed in 1986, performs a folk / classical repertoire, at a frantic pace & a humorous attitude - sometimes, reminiscent of cartoon soundtracks.
