Two bands have used this name. Bios for each follow. 1. THE DISLIKED is a five-piece ska punk Band that was formed back in summer of 2002 by 3 young guys, of whom two, Raph (bass and vocals) and Jerry (drums), are still rocking in the Band nowadays. They played a trashy oldschool punk rock at the beginning, but with Cedric entering the band and playing trumpet their songs became more melodic. After buying his first guitar, Cedric became the second guitarist and stopped playing trumpet. Afterwards Frank left the Band and was replaced by Laurent who nowadays plays the lead guitar. A second singer, Fabio, entered the band. That new formation began to become more and more popular in the luxembourgish music scene and they brought out their first demo-CD called "the Disliked". They featured on the “in defence of rock” compilation brought out by winged skull, an underground punk label in Luxembourg, with their song “another rainy day” and played at the release of this compilation at the Kulturfabrik in Esch/Alzette. Fabio left the band and with Valerie on the trumpet they started to play their first real ska-punk songs. After this they featured the second compilation, “in defence of rock 2”, with really big Bands like Anti-flag, the Lawrence Arms, P.O.box... Together with some friends, THE DISLIKED then founded ASHCAN RECORDS, which supports local as well as foreign ska, reggae, punk and rock bands and decided to record their first official album. This done, the band started to play not only in Luxembourg but also in the neighbour countries like Belgium, France and Germany. Their brand new album FRESH TRASH has been released the 14th October 2005 and after the promoting in Luxembourg THE DISLIKED are going for a EUROPE TOUR to present their album to the different rock scenes in Europe. THE DISLIKED not only played with great luxembourgish bands like Rise-Up or Extinct… but also with some international bands like Entartet(GER), Smash my Radio(B), Incriminate 77(F), Last to go(NL), Beans(NL), Skafield(GER), Mongrel(GER), Bredford(I), Po Box(F), ZSK(GER), Pistol Grip(US), La Ruda Salska(F),Phinius Gage (GB), Guerilla Poubelle(F)… 2.
