The Montreal native played with different bands, performed in Montreal, Toronto and Europe, and has written over two hundred songs. His time as the front man of the indie quartet ecclestone had him opening for classic rock bands such as Nazareth, YES, Mike Tramp (White Lion) & April Wine. The group won ‘Best Band’ twice on California-based website Makeastar.com . Their last album, datamantra, is still available at iTunes, cdbaby.com & Amazon. In 2003, Daniel was signed as a solo artist to an independent record deal that despite three years of hard work, produced no fruit. In 2006, he formed the daniel iorio group.The band released the self-produced effort ’hike‘ in 2008. The album was a digital-only release, and is available at cdbaby.com , iTunes & Amazon .
