The Crimson Armada was an American metalcore/deathcore band from Columbus, Ohio. The band initially formed in Westerville, Ohio in 2007, but after several live shows and demos the band went on hiatus. After pressure from the local music scene, the group reformed a year later. They released their debut album, Guardians, in July 2009 and toured it extensively, including the Monument Tour. They released their second album, Conviction, on June 21 2011. Although they have played at Christian venues and the band's lyrics sometimes reflect Christian themes, the band is not a Christian band. Some members are Christian. On October 29th, 2012 it was announced The Crimson Armada frontman Saud Ahmed has chosen to leave the band to make his other project The Holy Guile a full-time band. As such, The Crimson Armada have disbanded.
