Technicolour and Komatic

Londoners Peter Rogers (Technicolour) and Andy Powell (Komatic) have only been making music together since 2008, but have already turned heads and moved feet with their musically rich take on drum & bass. With solo singles on the likes of Technique Recordings, Critical Music and Spearhead, their partnership, forged through a shared love of liquid funk and red wine has seen further releases on Technique ('Daydreamer', 'Skyline Boulevard'), Worldwide Audio ('Preacher', 'Innervision') and Bassdrive Tunes ('Dickenson's Rocket', 'The Entire City'). DJ support has come from Annie Mac, High Contrast, LTJ Bukem and Fabio, and the duo have a large portfolio of fresh beats waiting in the wings. Technicolour's debut album 'Stolen Hours' is scheduled to drop in early 2010, featuring two collaborations with Komatic, and the original and remixes of 'Now She's Free' and 'Lights' are forthcoming on Bassdrive Tunes this winter. You can catch the freshest beats and exclusives on Komatic's weekly Bassdrive show from 4-6pm GMT (www.bassdrive.com), and Technicolour's monthly broadcast (every 4th Monday of the month, 6-8pm GMT).
