Surface Underground

Surface Underground This Band from Toronto/Canada has created their own sound in modern Hard Rock. Here comes an exceptional voice with Sylvia Niewinski. Intelligent arrangements, driving rhythms, heavy and dark elements and melodic guitars mix up to a progressive sound of Rock. Their remake of "Mad World" by Tears for Fears shows very much of this unique freshness. They're having their influences in A Perfect Circle, Tool, Van Halen, Deftones, Iron Maiden, and Black Sabbath. Surface Underground started as a writing project for John Pachecho (drums) and George E. Vee (guitar) in 2000. With Sylvia Niewinski (vocals) they were producing a demo. The result is the recording of their debut "Surface Underground" which is due to the lack of a lable a self-production of the band. This project was completed with the addition of Brad Wetham (bass). The band has also a video of "Mad World" out which was directed by Yorgo Karakostas, Kolossos Entertainment. Line Up: Sylvia Niewinski - vocals John Pachecho - drums George E.
