SuperPlex first became interested in Drum & Bass during his time as a student, studying in Sheffield. In particular, the mid-week night: The Tuesday Club was a massive influence on his production, as SuperPlex shifted his attention from making hip-hop beats, to breakbeat and then eventually to Drum & Bass. Late 2008/early 2009 was the period when SuperPlex really became a fan of Drum & Bass - exploring the sub-genres and started to love all things liquid funk. This influence can be heard in SuperPlex's latest free mini-LP called “Nostalgia”, which was produced in August 2010 (downloadable from www.superplexbeats.co.uk). Since beginning his journey in production, SuperPlex has been lucky enough to receive airplay on Huw Stephen's BBC Introducing...show and BBC Radio Sheffield's Raw Talent. Read more on Last.fm.
