Steven Stewart is a Contemporary Christian artist based in Finland. His debut album BALANCE features piano-driven inspirational pop songs and ballads that focus on Jesus Christ and His gospel in modern Christian lives. Steven's voice is joined by various solo guest vocalists which gives the album a wide variety of textures and styles. His style has been compared to Nichole Nordeman, Steven Curtis Chapman, Michael W. Smith, Scott Krippayne, Casting Crowns, Kenneth Cope, Hilary Weeks, and Sara Groves. Steven has also worked as a pop/rock songwriter and lyricist for many popular Finnish artists. Recent tracks cowritten for other artists include many Finland IDOLS finalists (Anna Abreu, Antti Tuisku, Katri Yländer, Anges, Panu Larnos), Club for Five, Jari Sillanpää, Laura Voutilainen, and more. In 2005, "Why" (toivanen/stewart) sung by Geir Rönning represented Finland for the Eurovision Song Contest. In 2009, Steven cowrote a song for Sani (Aikakone) called "Doctor Doctor" for the Finland Eurovision Finals. He has also co-written three songs for Eurovision finalist Lise Darly's debut album.
