Greetings, I am a handpan artist currently resident in Athens, Greece. Me and the Hang met in Bern – the Hang birthplace - in September 2007. Until that time I was a street-performing juggler and in my eyes the Hang was the natural evolution in my act. Pattern creation went one step further. I have realised that with the Hang I could create patterns that produced melodies. These melodies can be put together to form hypnotic soundscapes. I started performing with the Hang in 2008 and since then I have appeared in various venues around the world such as Athens, Vienna, London and Tokyo to name a few. Alongside my live performances I have also appeared on charity aid events in the UK, India and Greece. In November 2009 my debut album “Hanging on a dream” including 12 compositions for Hang solo, was released. My music was also presented in the Greek pavilion during the EXPO 2010 in Shanghai, China. My latest endeavour was co-composing music for an independent Greek movie that will be screened during the Berlin International Film Festival 2011.
